People depend on our services and we depend on our people to serve them well. Meridian Behavioral Health offers many promising opportunities for the service-minded to make a difference. Meridian provides our residential clients and outpatients with a range of behavioral health, substance abuse and addiction treatment services, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The Meridian Behavioral Health network includes specialized programs for men, women, and the LGBTQ community.

Our network treats drug and alcohol addiction along with any co-occurring mental disorders at branded treatment centers across the country, including at Valley Vista (in Vermont) and Serenity Acres Treatment Center (Maryland), and in our home base of the upper Midwest under the Meridian brand, at Beauterre Recovery Institute, and at New Beginnings Minnesota locations. MAT services are provided at our Valhalla Place facilities in Minnesota. Our network also proudly includes acute psychiatric facilities Red River Behavioral Health (in North Dakota) and Cypress Grove Behavioral Health (Louisiana).

For all of our locations, we hire people from diverse backgrounds who are highly motivated, productive and passionate about building an exceptional workplace culture. Dedication to integrity and quality service is a must.

Curtis Schneider

Recovery Specialist Lead

Curt is the lead Recovery Specialist for the men’s residential program at our Twin Town campus in St. Paul, MN. In recovery himself, after a previous career in the building trades, Curt started at Twin Town as a Recovery Specialist in August 2015.

His supervisor Katherine Luttrull says, “Like many of us, Curtis has had to overcome a lot of adversity and struggles in his past to get to where he is at today. He is an inspiration to me, my staff, and the clients of Twin Town.”

Curt has three children of varying ages, and he loves to spend time with them. From shooting hoops with his oldest son to “playing Barbies” with his little girl, he says it’s all good!

“Ever since I started at Twin Town, my supervisor, Kat, was my mentor. But all of my co-workers were great, and like Kat, they pushed me to do all I could. Once I got promoted to the RS Lead position, it felt like they all had my back. They actually gave me the opportunity, gave me a chance to prove what I could do. I took that as a blessing, that I really had the power to try my hardest at something special.”
