For the family of a person struggling with addiction–we see you.
Addressing issues and helping your loved one seek and engage in effective treatment can be a real challenge. But take heart, most clients who seek out treatment do so because of positive family involvement and long-term support. Our Family Education services aim to help families of patients through meaningful family education. We offer programming on topics like disease progression; family response to the illness; communication skills; patient relapse prevention and the continuum of patient care planning.
For Outpatient treatment
Every 4-6 weeks through our Outpatient Service, we offer Family Night, a service where we provide education and support to affected families. Family members receive a letter of invitation with event information as dates vary by Outpatient location.
Family Night is completely free and conducted in a group setting along with the patient. Following one initial group family session, individual family sessions may be requested. Learn more about our Outpatient Family Education and Support Programs by contacting the counselor at your family member’s location.
For Residential treatment
Family programming and education sessions are scheduled individually through the patient’s primary Mental Health Professional. To schedule a session, please contact staff at the treatment location.
