The personal care provided by Meridian Behavioral Health has led to recovery for thousands of Minnesotans who have suffered from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. Here, individualized treatment plans are developed by experienced, clinical professionals whose first order of business is an effective treatment program customized for each patient.
Do I or my loved one need treatment?
Symptoms and signs of substance abuse vary from person to person. While some with a dependency are in obvious need of help, others are better at “covering up” their symptoms than others by hiding their addiction from people around them. Take a self-assessment to explore how drug and/or alcohol use is impacting your life.
Want a professional assessment?
Meridian Behavioral Health provides confidential Substance Use Assessments at all of our outpatient programs by appointment. This service is a one visit service used to determine diagnosis, recommendation, and/or referral for individuals having concerns regarding their substance use. A licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LADC) performs a substance use assessment.

ADDICTION IS ONLY WHERE WE BEGIN TO HEAL
We believe the greatest difference we can make is helping others realize that a different life is possible. At Meridian Behavioral Health, we offer a wide range of treatment options in a safe, caring and confidential environment, all customized to the needs of each and every patient. There’s no drug too powerful, no addiction too strong. We embrace proven best practices, utilizing a number of therapeutic approaches to treat a variety of addiction and mental health issues. We have licensed facilities throughout Minnesota, and all of our residential programs (as well as many of our outpatient programs) are licensed as co-occurring facilities so that we can treat patients who have a substance use disorder with co-occurring mental health issues (also known as a dual-diagnosis). Our addiction treatment staff works with every patient to create plans that are personalized to their specific needs, with the goal of achieving lasting, meaningful stability and recovery.
